For scouting

Scouting analytics across leagues — one player ID, one reading

Scouts and recruitment staff need the same person to stay the same person from junior to SHL to NHL. The Hockey Analytics maintains cross-league player matching on a unified public layer and delivers shortlists, comparison tables, or private scouting views scoped to your question.

Decisions this supports

Cross-league follow lists

Track a prospect or target across Swedish leagues, Liiga, Swiss NL, Norway, Denmark and NHL public stats without rebuilding IDs each season.

Production vs process

Pair scoring rates with expected-goals context so a cold finishing stretch does not look like a role change — using the same xG vocabulary as our public explainer.

Usage and development signals

Junior ice-time share and line usage style questions (see published JITS%) when you need to know whether a club actually played its young players.

Club-owned tracking on top

When the club already pays for WiseHockey or InStat, we integrate those feeds in a consulting engagement and keep them private to your staff.

What you actually get

Public examples relevant to scouting

Open analyses that show how we frame player and roster questions with public data.

How a scouting engagement starts

  1. Email the leagues, the player set or archetype, and the decision (list, compare, or monitor).
  2. We confirm coverage and send a one-page scope with package tier.
  3. You receive tables, a private view, or exports — with a walkthrough on delivery.

FAQ

Which leagues are covered for scouting?
THA’s public layer covers the NHL, MoneyPuck xG, Swedish leagues including SHL detail, Norway shifts, Swiss NL, Liiga, Danish Metal Ligaen, and Hockey Reference / IIHF with cross-league player matching. Additional leagues are confirmed per engagement.
How fast can a shortlist be delivered?
A single scoped question often lands in about 3–7 business days after scope. Deeper multi-player projects typically take about 1–2 weeks.

Scope a scouting question

Send the leagues and the decision. We confirm whether the public layer covers it, or whether a WiseHockey / InStat integration is in scope.
